Hand quilters will love this delightful design for a wholecloth quilt, which finishes 30″ square.
It uses traditional Welsh motifs and layout, mainly taken from antique quilts in Carolyn’s collection. You can see the originals which provide the inspiration for the central motif and the Church windows outer border & outer edge of fan.
Purchasing this as a download provides a file from which the whole design can be printed out on a single A0 sheet of paper (Size E (US).
Alternatively, files for the separate sections of the design can be printed out on your home printer onto A4 (UK) or Letter (US) sheets, which can be joined together to form the full pattern, or used repeatedly to trace the relevant areas into a framework of supplied measurements.
The design has been produced as a high-quality, computer drawn image to give a clear and accurate product, which can be traced onto your fabric before layering and quilting.
Carolyn’s original quilt was made using cream cotton sateen and wool wadding, but you may use any suitable fabric in a colour scheme of your choice.
